30.....REALLY?

When you are young you think 30 is old and forever away. Not in the way you think about 16 and driving though. Thats exciting! Turning 30 to me has always been the day I knew I was an adult for sure. I would have my life figured out, know which path my life was taking me on. So in honor of that these are a few things I know and dont know to commemorate this good old birthday.
Tell me do you have these same things or is it just me?

I am more confident in my own skin.
I still sing in the shower...pretty loud.
I now like onions, garlic, and heaven help me but i love shrimp.
I am a mother to one sweet little boy but I will never again have another come from my body.
I never thought I would fight with my husband one day and love him the next.
I finally see why my parents were so strict with me growing up and respect them for it.
I dont know what I will do when my son goes to kindergarten next year.
I dont know if our home will ever again hear the sound of a babies cry or laughter.
I dont know if I will ever need a new liver...specialist's......you think they could say yes or no.
I still like to hang out with my friends but family is so much more important to me.

My birthday this year was great! Jeremy and I went and got breakfast. We took it to a park and watched Owen play before it got too hot. Then Jeremy and I went to the Provo Temple. Something we havent done together in quite a while im sad to say. It was wonderful to go back together and just what I needed on my birthday.
My sweet grandmother watched Owen for us while we went so after we picked him up we had some lunch and went to the mall. We dropped off my rings to be serviced and cleaned we did some window shopping. We got a orange julius which is the best present!
I also got some new shirts, pants, sunglasses, & some sweet earrings from forever 21.
My families spoil me! It was a great birthday even if I did have to be my 30th.

I'm still young bahaha hehe i love saying that being the youngest no matter how old I get everyone will be older *grin* I love ya! You still are young at heart and I have so much fun with you! You have so much energy and love. You are such a great mother to Owen and I look up to you so much! I'm glad you had a great birthday! You can always fight for being the best aunt and you have little Jaymee near enough to hear her little laughs and crys. You are so strong. Love ya sis. :)

Oh my gosh!!! 30 seems so long ago to me now. You are so wonderful. I don't know how our family ever got along without you. What a Godsend you have been. Owen is so blessed to have you as a Mom and Jeremy is a better man because he has you in his life. Love you.

Happy B-Lated Birthday my beautiful friend! I'm so glad it was a good one! 30 is hard and I agree I thought by now I would know which road I was taking and where we were going, I wonder if I will ever figure that part out. You're so wonderful, Owen and Jer are lucky to have you! I wish we could have seen you while we were down, time got away from us. Maybe ya'll should take a little road trip to good ol' Idaho! Miss you guys!

Welcome to the 30's club! I just joined earlier this month! I loved your list. Mine would actually be quite similar! Though I really don't like shrimp and as far as I know my liver is fine. Just plenty of other issues. I just hope it's not all down hill now that we're in our 30's! Hope to see you soon!

I remember 30. I spent it in London. Rough, I know. Last year I hit 40, and it was much more subdued. But I have to say that every year and every decade seems to get better. Hope you have many more of both ahead of you! Hugs from Iowa!

Happy Birthday Nicole. I still have one more year to 30 hehe!! I'm sorry for the heartache from your darn non-working liver. You are such a wonderful mother to Owen and I am so happy that you have joined the Hamilton clan. We love ya!!!

Glad your birthday was good, I know what you mean about 30 though-I remember my parents turning 30--scary!!
