Things to end Summer

Jeremy's little brother got married on the 8th of this month! It was a wonderful day for our family and theirs! Danielle looked beautiful and Jaymee looked so cute in her dress! Andy looked pretty handsome too in his tux! It went by way too fast and then the night was over. Andy and Danielle let Jaymee come to our house for the night while they stayed at a local bed & breakfast. It was so much fun to have a baby in the house again! We are so happy for them and are so glad to have Danielle a part of our family officially now!

These are some of the pictures I took the other day when I got to tend Jaymee! It is so much fun to tend her! Owen loves having another little kid around. He is such a good helper and is sad when she is. Owen looks so much older next to her. It really makes me sad he is growing up so fast! I couldnt resist getting some cute pics of her in the cute outfit her mom put her in!
Danielle is so sweet to let me tend Jaymee. Its really fun having another girl around!

This is our very HAPPY boy smiling after the dentist. Owen had a checkup this month. We talked about it a lot before hand. Last time we were there it was mostly traumatic for the poor kid. He didnt like the xray, kept gagging on the films. Did not want to sit in the chair and have his teeth cleaned and worst of all did NOT want the dentist poking around in his mouth. So in an attempt to avoid that we practiced for about 3 days before. It mostly worked. He did great on his xrays 4 of them to be exact. Still didnt want to lay down in the chair but he let the girl clean them and floss. Owen did however comply with laying in the dentist lap so he could check his teeth. Verdict: NO CAVITIES!!! I was thrilled!
The bad news is the tooth in the front that was knocked pretty good a couple of times is still not firming up and there is absolutely no root up there anymore. The dentist gave me the advise to take family pictures because it could happen at anytime and he wont get his new one till he is 7 or 8! Sad!

Also if you will notice the mark on his chin. I was baking some cookies for a combined FHE. I had just pulled the cookies out and like always Owen came over to investigate what I was doing with the oven. I told him for like the 100th time : that's hot, back up! Well he thought he would be clever and just lean in to smell them. The very edge of the pan burned his little chin and he had a small line of a blister! It was so sad!! Hopefully next time he will listen to the mom.

Owen is getting ready to start his 2nd year of Pre-school! I cant believe he will be going to kindergarten next year. It makes me sad to think of him in real school everyday. He loves school though and that helps. I just want him to stay little forever. Our little baby is growing up. We are so proud of him for the new things he is learning and we know he will learn tons more in school this year too!
